Specs here. I wish I could personally thank each and every one of you, but a mass tumblr post (via Andy) will have to do. Your support is priceless and SO appreciated. The Newsies fandom is unique. It’s rare that the ensemble of a show is held in such high regards. Know that we don’t take it for granted. We feel so lucky to have wonderful fans who support our hard work and respect EVERY cast member. You guys are the best. Keep carrying the banner. Newsies FOREVER.Love,Ryan

I keep seeing that his last show is supposed to be the 20th.
Can anyone confirm this?
If you want me to print off your graphic to give to him or anything else (a letter, etc.) personally from you, send it in my ask/submit it with your first name, last initial, and state (or country) and I can include it.
I want this care package to just be a token of thanks and appreciation for when he leaves Newsies. He’s my favorite cast member, and I know he is generally well-loved. So let’s show it!
Unfortunately I would not have the opportunity to give Ryan anything in person because I live too far away, which is why I wasn’t planning on organizing anything, but thankfully someone else is! If you can, send your good thoughts/whatever else you want to say her way. :D
Ryan Steele (Specs) and Thayne Japerson (Darcy) will both be departing Newsies shortly for the new musical from London, Matilda (which begins performances on March 4th). If I had to guess both Ryan and Thayne will be playing their final performances sometime in mid January. Although nothing about that has been made available anywhere.
